What is Science Olympiad?
Science Olympiad is a competition based club, with one competition in February. Science Olympiad competitions are like academic track meets, consisting of a series of 23 team events in each division (Division B is middle school; Division C is high school). Each year, a portion of the events are rotated to reflect the ever-changing nature of genetics, earth science, chemistry, anatomy, physics, geology, mechanical engineering and technology. By combining events from all disciplines, Science Olympiad encourages a wide cross-section of students to get involved. Emphasis is placed on active, hands-on group participation. Through Science Olympiad, students, teachers, parents, principals and business leaders bond together and work toward a shared goal. We consider members of the Trabuco Hills Science Olympiad as part of our family!

Grace Qian is a senior at Trabuco Hills High School. Her favorite subjects are physics and psychology, but she is passionate about computer science. She is part of the volleyball team at Trabuco and loves running, reading, and taking pictures with her friends, Grace has been a part of Science Olympiad for three years.

Rachelle Punsalan is a Senior at Trabuco Hills High School. Her favorite subjects are Chemistry and Psychology, but she is more passionate about the various theories of the mind. She loves baking, painting, and spending time with her friends. Rachelle has been part of Science Olympiad for three years.
